I just looked at the Mike fight on YouTube for the first time (haven’t been able to get the mic working on my computer to play it myself) and I am convinced that the sound effects used during the cat attacks are taken from the game Petz (II/III/IV). Cat Petterz, the game Noelle always talks about that’s connected to Mike and FRIEND, is obviously based on Petz (all the stuff about glitched/hacked pets is real and my sister and I did that when we were kids!) and hearing that cat sound effect awakened a visceral childhood memory. Can anyone who’s more tech savvy/has access to Petz confirm this so it can be added to the Trivia section?

You can play it without a mic too (would be easier that way anyways) Just go the the microphone-shaped crystal and change your mic to something involving your keyboard or controller instead.

You can hear the cat sound effects throughout, especially around 2:30 - 3:00. Does anyone else think it’s the same sound?
