- At the beginning of Chaos King, there's a tense build up, sometimes punctured by some notes. If you line those up then it sounds a bit like Once Upon a Time.
- This might be already noticed but Finale contains Asgore.
- Don't Forget sounds like Snowdin at the start.
- Sanctuary motif seems to be a variant of Don't Forget.

this is just more proof in my mind that we need to rework the way we approach the leitmotif’s page when it comes to formatting and connections to Undertale’s OST. One issue I’m running into personally is that I’m discovering the presence of leitmotifs in OTHER leitmotifs. I am undecided on how I want to present this information, since some motifs were not named at the time of others being introduced, and yet I have no doubt that tricky Tony is absolutely putting leitmotifs we aren’t aware of yet inside songs we already have. The real question is, how do we define which motif is which? by chronological order of introduction? by how many other songs its in? by how many parts are quoted in songs that do use it? it’s becoming apparent to me that the nature of this game’s OST is nothing short of a spiders web of connections between songs. I’m not sure if it begins at the edges or the center.
In short, Toby is really good at music. And it's hard to keep up.

fr’instance, HEY EVERY, while introduced by Spamton, is very much a Tenna leitmotif, being used in his show’s opening, and every song (incorrectly) listed as having the KING OF ROLYPOLY motif (which is just HEY EVERY)
we just use common sense.

Idk if this counts as necroposting (sorry if it does) but I started listening to finale again and I can absolutely hear asgore’s motif in it now at 1:02-1:04 1:06-1:08, 1:12-1:14, 1:17-1:18, 1:22-1:23, 1:27-1:29, 1:32-1:34, 1:37-1:39, 1:42-1:44, 1:46-1:48, and it’s making me loose my marbles
Edit: I’m listenin To the song undertale rn and I think I also might hear it at 4:45-5:17 but that’s probably just once upon a time
