I was looking through the failed searches to try and find ones that could be easily redirected, and I noticed "map" was in 8th. I was wondering if it would be worth it to create a map page, where one could find every map on this wiki. What do you guys think?
This is tricky because loading all maps on a single page is going to lag everyone’s browsers. So I’m still thinking about how to best approach this.
Maps category page?
Unfortunately, there is no way to categorize interactive maps at the moment. We do have a category for map background files, but they are, of course, not interactive.
Aren’t the interactive maps part of normal wiki pages? They should be categorizable that way
The maps use a specific syntax that is incompatible with standard wikitext.
Yes, interactive maps are embedded into normal wiki pages. But it doesn’t really make sense to categorize regular wiki pages as “maps”, since that’s not what they conceptually represent.
We could probably make Maps into a disambiguation between all the wiki pages that currently have maps, though?
Ok now that’s a good idea
I’m still for this idea, as it properly has the annotations listing.
