i would like to comment, however, that noelle's thoughts in the weird route may not be 100% reflected in the main route, since they've only been triggered by the weird route. it's possible she doesn't truly think this, or is at least satisfied, in the normal route.

If Dess is missing, which is what most evidence seems to be pointing towards, then her having "left" could be referring to the last time she left the house, after which she went missing. I feel like big picture, the whole thing is still pointing towards a disappearance rather than suicide or murder.
