Is the Princess Ribbon climbing section supposed to be insanely hard?

For context, I'm talking about the one in the Third Sanctuary that's hidden behind a bookshelf:

The one with timed platforms and a bunch of water dispensers in a row
The one with timed platforms and a bunch of water dispensers in a row1280×960 121 KB

Like, it looks easy at a glance, but it legit takes me a couple dozen attempts to beat it every time. Is it supposed to be this hard? Do I have a skill issue?

I don’t know if it was meant to be hard, I did had the same problem though

I think it’s not easy, but it should be manageable within a reasonable amount of time. There’s apparently a “trophy” you can obtain if you get below a certain amount of time in some of these tracks… now that seems pretty hard.
