I'm trying so hard to edit a SAVE but:

  1. Where does the first SAVE appear in Ch4!? IT'S TAKING TOO LONG
  2. WHERE'S %LOCALAPPEMXGMEXP, I CAN'T FIND IT, I'M TRYING TO USE TENNA SAVE EDITOR AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I'M GOING TO KILL THE SAVE FILE SYSTEM IF I GO MORE INSANE, I ALREADY BROKE ONCE TODAY WITH FIGURING OUT HOW TO FIND THE FILES

If you’re on Windows, go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\DELTARUNE. You should be able to just copy and paste it. The first save file should be filech4_0.

Except that I'm pretty sure that you can't choose to stay in the house before going to Church since it's a cutscene

I tried searching for it, nada. I'm on Windows 11 btw

wait do you mean the %LOCALAPPDATA%/DELTARUNE gave nothing or there’s no filech4_0? If it’s the former, then that’s strange. If it’s the latter, then AFAIK filech4_0 only appears once there’s an actual save first.

That’s correct. You can only access save points after spending time in the church. Depending on how you count it, the first save point in chapter 4 is either in the middle of hometown next to QC’s or in Kris’s room. No it’s not, refer to this comment.

I tried to search for the "%LOCALAPP..." in the file explorer, but it came up with nothing

Don’t search for it, copy and paste it into the file path at the top
