Ideas for a UNDERTALE mod

Since it is a dream that will never come true, i’ll publish them here so someone who knows programing can make such, if they ever want. (write the dialogue yourself!)

It would be called

UNDERTALE

Remastered

Would be the base game, but i would put some changes in it.

I’ll put in order of which one i remembered first

If you threaten Gerson on the Genocide Route, it would start a battle against his Hammer of Justice fight, but with Undertale UI, of course. (Hammer of Justice plays)

After killing Asgore and Flowey(still Geno. R.) you would need to go up to the barrier. After this, suddenly, the Seven Human Souls would exit the ground and fly towards the character. Then they would appear floating, each one in their respective place when in the 3 each side formation. If you try to attack them it will appear “miss” since the slash will be in the middle. Then, they will start to rotate untill they’ve reached the middle of the screen, thus they will shine white and multiple cracked Monster SOULS(white hearts) will exit the floor and reassemble, draining all the stats(but not the LV) of the player, making it again at 20hp. Then, all the SOULS will get together in the middle, creating the Angel. (imagine it as Asriel’s second form without the head and heart locket) If you try to attack it, it will be split in half, before a rainbow ooze fuses it together again. Then, it will turn into every main character{Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton NEO, Sans and Asgore}(but they will be totally white) and each one will throw their strongest attack or a much faster version of their hardest. If you attack any of them, they will make almost the same animation as the Angel, except Undyne, which will turn into Undyne the Undying if attacked. After everyone has attacked one turn, it will morph back into the Angel and start giving its own attacks like Asriel2ndform’s basic attack, a laser from the big heart under it, the Star Storm and the Hyper Goner as the final attack, after 16 turns of randomness impossibility. If you die, a True reset will be done, and you restart the game again, because the SOUL got absorbed.(it won’t shatter, it will reassemble and enter the central circle.(the music playing will be only the first calm seconds of “Battle Against a True Hero”)

(that unused Mettaton NEO music in the Unused Tracks page on Deltarune wiki will play)Mettaton NEO will have a real fight. The normal Power of NEO will play until you hit it,(after this, the slash animation will slow down while the silent part plays) then it will appear “miss” while it has its wings closed. Then it will fly off-screen and two lasers will shoot from there, closing until tottaly closed. To dodge this attack, you need to go to one of the superior corners of the bullet box, which will turn rectangular. After this, it could use Asriel’s Rainbow Thunders(everytime it attacks it will fly off-screen) and those little bolts from Alphys. It will receive very little damage because it will close its wings every time you attack, making it a very long fight.

I would put those little houses in hotland... The New Home new area under the elevator... a 10% chance of Tenna’s show appearing on Papyrus’s TV(now don’t turn off that TV, because we’ll have a new program next week! It’s called “TV TIME!”)... Also aply Gerson’s soundbite from Deltarune...

Put other good, not joke, ideas here!

In complete honesty, maybe add some UTY character encounters as a reference?

Also, another Idea:

The Asriel Fight will be a little different: You still need to fight Asgore, but NOT kill him. Then, a huge friendliness pellet(Omega stile) will hit him and throw him alway instead of killing him. Then, you need to beat Omega Flowey again, but when he is about to kill you, he says: Also, you really thinked i didn't know the SOULS would Rebel? I’ve saw this scene infinite times. After this, when the pellets are going to touch you, a Gaster Blaster hits them. He makes an angry face but throw more pellets at the SOUL. However, this time the shield from Undyne’s battle blocks them all. Flowey makes a even nervous expression, but throw more... This time a volley of bones flies and blocks them. Then he transforms into his normal form again, bringing back the Battle UI, then he says: “really? WHO IS BLOCKING MY PELLETS?!” He is hit By Toriel’s fire Magic, then things happen like that reunion before the Asriel battle, except for one little dialogue change on Flowey: Wow. I can't believe you all are so idiot to challenge a demigod.

Also, if you didn't had a SAVE file when the Battle(against Omega) it appears on the corner of the screen: "File 10 SAVEd."

Also, a good idea would be the crack in Undyne’s armor If she jumps to save Monster Kid

Also, If you try to click on the wrong lever in the Ruins, Toriel will say: "I said to click on the labelled switch, my child. Last time someone tryed to do this..."

Do anyone think animating the intro is a good idea?

Also, when the monsters have already said the history of the kingdom, two Froggits would say:

Froggit 1-This is the tale of our kingdom. The tale of the Underground Kingdom of Monsters. Froggit 2-Human, this is the UNDERTALE.

Sans’s attacks could match the music, with him attacking when the music is on that Intense part and letting you have your turn when the music is more calm on the end and start

Also the only way to defeat the Angel in the final fight is to get the Legendary Artifact:

To get in that room on the Genocide, you Will need to play the starting notes of MEGALOVANIA on the piano. When you enter the room, there won’t be an Annoying Dog in your inventory, making possible to get the Artifact. However, It makes nothing untill the Angel’s Fight, where after surviving all the attacks, you will be able to use the Artifact(which does nothing outside the Battle), it will float and shine, filling the entire screen with white light. Then, the Angel(and the battle UI) will be gone. Only then, and only then, Chara will appear. {if you don’t have the Artifact, the battle will go forever.}

Also, i said to NOT put jokes here, or else i’ll discover how to block people out of my post.

Had an idea: cut Hopes and Dreams in two parts to prevent it to return to the violin part mid-battle, just like Finale is cut in 3 parts

Telling us not to put jokes in here when the entire thing is 90% jokes that make the game on par with one of the "easiest undertale fangames" is WILD.


















































































Re-add the Sans speedrunner cutscene, but Never Gonna Give You Up plays instead of the goofy ahh theme that was planned. It's also 10x as long, with the song looping as needed.

No, if you kill papyrus he does the same thing, but at the end he locks you inside of a bone cage, with two doors on the left and right that s l o w l y creak open with the most annoying sound. The cage doors take the same time as the main ice cream scene, which is 10x as long from the original concept.

Hey had an idea

If you kill Papyrus, his head would survive :papyrus:

Sans’s battle(in the genocide route) would happen with him holding Papyrus’s head, which could serve as comic relief

And, wouldn’t this be a bit annoying?

Yeah, it's to make you feel bad for going out of your way to kill Papyrus when cheating to get to Sans's judgement under 2 minutes.

(but the time it was going to take wouldn’t count in speedruns)

(or you could disable it in the settings)

(also disable{optionally, but only after getting past Royal Guards in any run except Genocide} Alphys’s notifications)

Sans’s head could also survive, and the two would go away instead of dying

Other ideas i had:

Could implement Mad Mew Mew’s battle in Computer Versions, And a new reaction for the "Don’t Forget" photo on Sans’s Workshop if you interact with it a second time: "...(is that a hu- no… it couldn’t be...)"

Ooh, I like those ideas. But if you're implementing Mad Mew Mew, might as well add the rest of the Dog Shrine stuff (except maybe the playstation stuff, it's literally just "Collect G and feed it to the box.")

*but only after beating her that the Dog Shrine becomes available, right?

Also if you talked to that clam thing in front of Nappstablook’s house (when it will say that the time to meet "Susy" is fast approaching) there could appear one of those comic reactions that sometimes appear in Deltarune, with Susie’s face: She would say "Hey!! I’m from another game!!" with that sprite of her face when she’s angered(with those triangular teeth)

Undyne’s spears could do direct damage, like in Deltarune. The lasers could, too.

Undyne the Undying could have 8 sides like Gerson

Or am i making the Genocide Route too hard? I want it to be hard since i want it to feel like everything is trying to stop you from destroying the world.

If Undying gets the 8 directions, the attacks would have to be VERY balenced (maybe when she stops using Green Soul altogether normally, she instead brings in the other 4 directions into play?)

Like, in the start it has 4 directions but then after the SOUL unturns red (turns green again) it starts with 8 directions?

No, there's a point in the fight where you turn red, and don't turn back green. I was thinking that maybe there, after two red soul attacks, it could go back to green, but now there are 8 directions (with an easier/slower attack to introduce the mechanic)
