At 0:30-0:43 and 0:56-1:10 in the background you can hear a melody that sounds like a sped up version of the holy part 1.
I’m not the first to hear this either, I’ve seen it pointed out a couple of times in YouTube comments aswell.
What do yall think?

It doesn’t really sound like it to me but the THE HOLY part 1 motif has always been a little nebulous to me. Could you provide a transcription of what you hear?
For reference on the history, the THE HOLY part 1 motif was originally added as being shared in SWORD, which was later removed on the basis of being too simple of a shared part to count as a motif. But by that point it was also cited as being in Flashback (Excerpt), which was added by this edit (https://deltarune.wiki/w/Leitmotifs?diff=prev&oldid=78696) citing this video as a source (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brs1m7urQT8&t=289s) and has remained there, to my knowledge without any discussion.

The part 1 I’m reffering to is the one that is currently noted as part 1 on the wiki page itself (the one in flashback).
You can tell it might be the holy because the third note comes twice as fast as all the other ones just like in the holy.
The part you’re referring to is clear, but if you want to demonstrate that one track using a motif from another you’d need to transcribe the notes in order to demonstrate that the interval (difference in pitch) is the same between the notes of both renditions. Just having similar timing doesn’t make it a motif if the notes don’t line up.
(For the record I’m not saying it isn’t the case, just letting you know what you can do to determine if it is)
I’ve looked into it again and I’m not as sure of it being THE HOLY part 1 as I previously thought.
(Arrows pointing at The holy part 1 according to this music sheet:

(Arrows pointing at the part of the power of spamton I thought had the holy according to this music sheet:

Altough thier progression is pretty similair, I don’t think this is meant to be the holy. (Even though it would make thematic sense)
HOWEVER! I do still think that part might be a leitmotif. Just not THE HOLY! I think it might be the dark truth leitmotif but in reverse!
Let’s look at the power of spamton again.
(The power of spamton)
(The dark truth leitmotif according to this music sheet:
https://musescore.com/juppsenn/the-dark-truth-toby-fox-deltarune-chapter-2-the-dark-truth )
The dark truth Goes one note down, and then three notes up! The power of spamton goes three notes down, and one note up! The exact reverse of the dark truth!
Altough this might look like a stretch at first, this isn’t the first time the motif has been used in reverse. When you enter the second sanctuary and leave the fountain room, the song that will quietly play in the background is the dark truth motif but in reverse!
It also makes a good amount of thematic sense. Since the neo body is meant to look like the angel and the leitmotif is associated with the angels heaven, it makes a bit of sense for it to be there. It could also be there because it’s also somewhat of a “creepy” or “dangerous” theme (most likely why it was in iminant death and vs. Susie) and if you ask me, Spamton fits dangerous and at the very least creepy.
I honestly think i might be correct about this, though I really wanna hear other peoples opinions on it too before any edits are to be made (obviously) (not that i can edit the page myself anyways)
