FNaF lore would've been so much better if 5 and 6 didn't exist
5 and 6 literally give the answer to every lore thing in the pre-Steel Wool games tho

But if not 4, then 6 should have been the end
SL and 6 introduced some weird things for the series, but in my opinion, still gave a nice ending (I still find the fnaf 6 ending bad ass)
But anyone who hates 5 and 6, I understand, it made things more sci fi in contrast to 1-4 having a more paranormal horror feel.
Yeah, Connection Terminated is just... peak.
What the FNaF franchise should've'en:
- FNaF 1-3 (maybe 4?)
- FNaF World(??) + TSE Trilogy
- Steel Wool Games + CYOA Books
Fck FF, TftP, and ItP, y'all made the continuity k*ll itself
Also, SL and FFPS added unnecessary lore that complicated the Steel Wool Games lore even more
The 7 clickteam games are really the only good ones. I think that the games should've ended not at 3 or 4, but at UCN, since it's when everything was wrapped up, with Afton being stuck in torment.
Steel Wool continuing the series just isn't as good, but seemingly SOTM is good, so I have hope that the Steel Wool era is on an uphill trend.
Honestly, I think the FNaF 6 Henry speech is amazing; had the series ended sooner, we wouldn't have gotten it. UCN being the ending is fitting, all the games beyond are kind of just... unnecessary.
We could also just create more continuities

The Steel Wool Games are basically Phase 2 of FNaF. No more Afton-Emily Lore, now we have Miller-Mimic Lore (Mimic)
The speech is cool af, but it's basically just FNaF 3 but with tycoon sim elements and whatever bs SL is about

I feel like enough people want UCN 2 or FNaF World 2 (with all the characters of current FNaF, since the originals don't have that) that I have made up a thing in my mind: A single game with both inside it. (Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury style)
It would also have a "deluxe edition" (or maybe DLC) that has Pizza Sim, but without the "don't die to the animatronics" aspect. (because I'd like to play Pizza Sim, but the only parts I'd personally enjoy are the tycoon parts.) There would still be the nightshift, but instead of trying not to die to animatronics, you'd be actually going THROUGH the pizzaria doing the tasks you normally do in the office/vents in the OG, plus some others like performing maintenance on the animatronics or attractions and the like. And maybe there would sometimes be people who try to steal stuff, and there'd be a stealth thing where you have to not get seen by them while trying to make your way to a phone so you can call the police? I have lots of ideas for this. Maybe even too many.
Funnily enough, there's a fangame that may as well be FNaF World 2 called FNaF World Refreshed, so my want for that is satisfied. Only 2 left!
