How do you make a redirect

I tried making a redirect for Snowdrake’s Mother on the Deltarune wiki to the section on Hometown NPCs about Crystal (her grave), and I followed the exact directions for making one on Mediawiki that I found from this site, but it didn’t work

I don’t understand why, and I don’t want to leave up a broken redirect page for long

Hey. It’s easier to create a redirect if you use the source editor. If you try to follow those instructions on the visual editor, it’ll appear exactly as you type it. Source editor avoids that problem.

In the visual editor, you can use page settings to select a page to redirect to:
