GUYS PLEASE HEAR ME OUT ON THIS IDEA FOR A SECOND I'M NOT SURE BUT I DON'T THINK THIS HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE... (fyi, silksong spoilers)

Kris -> The Knight
Asriel -> The Hollow Knight
Toriel -> The White Lady
Asgore -> The Pale King
Susie -> Hornet
Carol -> Grandmother Silk
Dess -> Phantom
Noelle -> Lace
Ralsei -> Quirrel
Undyne -> Queen Vespa

The lore is relatively shuffled around and whatnot so i haven't figured too much out in the way of that yet... but I do know that the Dreamers are lore relevant to the roaring and the darkness is sealed away but the seal is failing, so the knight is opening fountains so they can break the seal and reseal away the darkness, but everyone just thinks they're being evil n stuff.

also this won't work, the personality and motivation is entirely different, the only same bit is that they're both highly present. I recommend swapping someone like, say, Ralsei, and then swap Ralsei again into Quirrel so they have a three-way swap. Hornet, in the end, gets Herrah's mask, while Quirrel only has half a mask and you need to beat the Teacher's Archives to find the second half and get Malius to fix it. Of course, all in the swaps. That being said,

That's too obvious, Spamton would be really funny but idk if that's what you'd like, maybe Susie for the PD.

Vespa doesn't mingle with Hallownest politics, so this isn't actually as strong a swap as it seems.

no, it's the other way around, the hollow knight characters are the deltarune characters now.

The Hollow Knight characters are now taking the place of the Deltarune characters. Speaking characters/non infected-Haunted characters are Lightners. Darkners are basically the same but bugs, aside from a few. The lore is also relatively changed. So the Knight (FROM HOLLOW KNIGHT) is now taking the place of kris, et cetera.

Again, I JUST came up with this so it's not perfect. I still can't think of a gerson swap but I'm leaning towards Sly.

Oh Yeah the Addisons and Vessels work, and Even the “Impure” Vessels are still agender. But Spamton Is the only Gendered Addison even moreso than Ghosts and Mettaton and Mad Mew Mew. But then no Vessel-Pink Comparisons.
