I wish Cornifer were here... He'd have a map and I could sit with him and listen to him humming...
I go back to the elevator and head further up.
You come across a room on the right, it seems empty enough from here.
The elevator also heads further up, if you wish it to.
What do you do?
I head down the room.
A Winged Sentry confronts you.
I leave the room.
Go up?
Go up the elevator.
Now. Please. I don't want to die.
You come across a largish room, largely empty save some platforms leading to an upwards opening to another room, and two vengeflies. A vast window, covering the whole wall, stretches out behind them, giving you a pleasant view of the endless rain falling friskly upon the underground city.
(You get advantage against vengeflies, considering they're low level and you have contact damage.)
I attack the first vengefly with a jump and a slash.

The vengefly falters away, heavily damaged but not yet dead-close to it, though. It retaliates.

(It's injured so it is debuffed.)
It fails.
I slash it one more time to kill it.
(Can I heal by focusing SOUL or can not all vessels do that(

The vengefly lays slain, its geo fallen upon the smooth floor.
You have enough soul to focus.
FOCUS
I focus real hard
You healed one mask.
One vengefly remains above you, not having noticed your presence.
