HK: 5 Vessels

I can't die this early! Please, whatever god is in this old kingdom, bless me!
I attempt to flee again!

You fled, into the room below the Lemm building.
In front of you stretches a sewage vault in the ground, leading to the Royal Waterways.
An elevator is also present.
What do you do?

I head into the elevator to rest for a moment, before seeing where it takes me.

(If you die without a bench, you die die and someone else can claim your Vessel.)
(If you've died too many times and respawned at the same bench too many times, or the bench is broken, you also die die.)

You are elevated up to a floor. To your left are some sentries, who don't notice you yet. To your right is a sign, and a door.

I go through the door, praying the sentries don't follow

You step within a cosy store. A weary shopkeeper awaits at a counter. A vast collection of relics lines the room. You spot a large shell, or a sculpture perhaps, lying in the corner. Your eye flits momentarily to an idol on the shelf, carved in the likeness of Hallownest's monarch.
What do you do?

(Do I have a voice to cry suffering here?)

You have a form to bargain.

(I have no clue what that means, do I possess the ability to speak or not?)

You can communicate.

I greet the shopkeeper and ask if I may rest in his store for a moment.

"If you're not looking to trade, you may as well leave. This is a shop, not a bar."

"May I ask what you are selling?"

"I'm a relic seeker. If you possess any unwanted antiques, I'd readily buy them off you. If not, then there's little reason you should stay here."

I check my inventory for anything I may have picked up along my journeys.

The shopkeeper in question

Relic seeker Lemm

You search through your belongings, but you don't seem to have anything, save your nail.

(Yeah I remember Lemm, he's chill)
"Well, then I suppose I will make my leave. If I find anything, I will come back here."
I go to exit the shop.

Where do you go now? The elevator leads further upwards...or you could confront the sentries, or head back down, or back to Lemm.
