HEY EVERY! is quoted (albeit very subtly and stuffed into the background) in Air Waves at 0:47-1:00 and 1:30-1:57.
Purple is the background of Air Waves. Green is King of Rolypoly. Red is the first five notes of King of Rolypoly.
It's very hard to hear, I recommend looking up a version without the main melody.
I can hear it, but it’s still incredibly hard to hear even without the main melody.

Here's an audio comparison. First is an unmodified excerpt of Air Waves. Second is one without the main melody. Third is the notes I'm talking about being played on a piano in FL Studio. Fourth is that last thing but pitched up to show the similarity with HEY EVERY !

That probably means you’re paying attention to the wrong notes. The piano notes are the exact same as the notes from Air Waves.
did you change the rhythm? can you post sheet music or some other visual aid?
