Idk if this is actually relevant in any way*, but I was wondering why the media player used for Hammer of Justice is Spotify, while most of the other tracks on the wiki are played via Bandcamp (tbh, I didn't compare with ALL the other musics on the wiki, but from what I've seen I thought Bandcamp was the default choice for media player, hence my surprise).
*Edit : Also, Spotify only plays an excerpt of the music instead of the full version (+ makes it impossible to select the music at an exact timecode), so this is actually quite detrimental to the user experience
I think getting Hammer of Justice on Bandcamp requires a purchase, and we're not doing OST piracy anymore (unfortunately) so we have to rely on the other streaming services.
I have added to our issue tracker to try using YouTube Music as a music player instead of Spotify (when Bandcamp is not available). Spotify has music embedding support, whereas YouTube Music can only really make video embeds. But it does have full tracks over there, so maybe we can try something.
I feel like the Wikis should have a standard music source, which should be free, have all the soundtracks and soundbytes, and not need to open up another page.
Might take some time to find a good repository, though.
Yeah that's because most of Deltarune's song are on Toby's Bandcamp, which is the widget used for those, but those aren't. So we used Spotify instead, and that only played previews, because thay're greedy. So there may not be ones for those, or we may still be using spotify for now, idk.
First and foremost, the music source should be legal. If you can find me a legal music source that allows embedding a music (not video!) player for every(!) Deltarune track in full (not only excerpts!), I can look into implementing widgets from that source.
