Try to use healing items as sparingly as possible, while still using them when needed, as well as healing to full or near-full when he "spares you
(don't fall for it.)
Also, when you get to the final attack with the long sideways corridor, if you hold right immediately before the corridor part you'll be unhittable until the final jump at the end. Unless Toby's patched that specific thing out for some reason. (Don't ask me where I learned this secret tech, they're not really well thought of anymore)

Btw before you suggest what armor to wear, im already using the temmie armor, the best for the fight
Physically impossible without cheats
You can't get temmie armor in genocide i beat him with this loadout;
armor: Cloudy Glasses, for I frames
weapon: Torn Notebook, for I frames (that or burnt pan for extra healing)
Inventory: Steak, Snowman Piece x3, Butterscotch Pie, Instant Noodles, and two Legendary Heroes (The first time I beat him had these swapped with Glamburgers, but Legendary Heroes are better) If you have trouble paying for this, you can steal a bunch of G from the QC in Snowdin town. You should have enough. Just practice a lot. By the time I beat him, I could survive the first phase on just two Glamburgers. Heal up when he spares you, memorize the attack patterns, and try to remember dialogue cues (example: know the line before he starts to spare you, so you don't heal, lose health from his attack, and then attack so he spares you) It takes about 22 FIGHTs to kill him, and stay determined!
I was struggling with undyne so i edited my save
Although i also put my save (without temmie armor) into some notepad website so i can start geno again from the undyne fight, this time doing the route WITHOUT temmie armor

Torn notebook and cloudy glasses
I believe it gives more general benefit than burnt pan and apron but some people use those
Locket and knife are trash
Stats are meaningless here
Try to master earlier attacks and save your best healing for the end
The final attack is so hard it’ll make you want to give up
For me the sea tea helps give more leeway on that attack, but I don’t recommend using it before then since it can screw up patterns
