GUYS DESS KNIGHT DEBUNKEDDDD!?

So, everybody thinks dess is the roaring knight, right? SOOO, if the dark world are partly formed from the stuff the lightener knows, then how does gerson exist? It is implied that gerson died a while back, saying that dess didn't ever know/see gerson. meaning that if she is the knight, then HOW IS GERSON IN CHURCH DARK WORLDS???

Um, no, Alvin says "It's been a few years", and the Boom family was still getting condolences from Lord of the Hammer fans until "just recently".

Dess is around Asriel's age, so she didn't just know Gerson--he was probably her teacher. (And maybe that's why he shows up in the sanctuaries, because she misses him after he died)

tbh I always thought Alvin created the dark fountain

Alvin is the Knight believers rise.

Yeah, this is actually Dess Knight evidence if anything.

I don't think Alvin is the knight but I do think he's working with knight and Carol and all that

When do you think Gerson died? When Alvin was young? It’s not that long ago. Gerson was likely Dess’s teacher, and many Dess knight theorists agree on that and have already thought about this.

no, but I thought that GERSON died sometime before DESS went to the school. I mean, its implied that its been at least a year before she went missing, so I don't know (where did you get the DESS KNIGHT theorists part? I haven't seen any dess knighters who say that GERSON was her teacher)

Addressing Gerson existing...
Yeah, it was said that the fountain reflects the will of its creator, BUT that doesn't mean that all the darkners inside the world are also a reflection too.
Like, Gerson was obviously brought back because of his... ~ahem~corpse~ahem~ I mean, the dust-covered dome with his hammer inside + the mementoes of him around the church.
What I mean is that the existence and personalities of darkners do not depend on the fountain's creator. Like, It's not true that pippins like to gamble and cheat just because Kris tried to cheat in some game in their childhood.
Darkners are formed from just whatever objects are inside the room where the fountain was created. That's all.
Dess is still the strongest Knight candidate imho.

You see, each Dark Fountain creates a different "world."
A "world" whose Darkners reflect the will of its fountain.

Time flies... Seems like just yesterday you and that girl had everyone here lined up.
Queen on her side, King on your side, Tenna in back... Oh, it was chaos, CHAOS!
Heh, only kids like you two would take a laptop home just to play make believe.

No where in that first citation does it state that the Darkners are shaped by the will of the fountain…

There were 2 claims made:

Yeah, it was said that the fountain reflects the will of its creator, BUT that doesn't mean that all the darkners inside the world are also a reflection too.

Like, It's not true that pippins like to gamble and cheat just because Kris tried to cheat in some game in their childhood.

My first citation corresponds to the first claim, and the second citation corresponds to the second.

The purpose of the first citation was to illustrate that "the fountain reflects the will of its creator" is a miscitation. The whole Second Sanctuary arc of Chapter 4 tells you clearly that it's the case, but the words "the fountain reflects the will of its creator" are never said in-game. What is said (in Chapter 2) is "Darkners reflect the will of its fountain".

The purpose of the second claim was to illustrate that the personalities of Darkners were shaped by whatever Kris and the Holiday girls were doing to them during their childhood + them no longer doing it for years. I didn't mean to imply that the first citation was connected to this.

Sorry for not making this clearer. I guess I should've explained it right away instead of dropping 2 citations with no context.

jesus this was a thing I made at like 2 am what the hell did this turn into
