if you claimed asgore was gay i would think its a fun headcanon and play around with it in my head, not go on every single post that says asgore is gay and headcanons him as gay and say theyre wrong and say its the same as erasing a gay persons sexuality, even in spaces they say not to talk about that.

if you mean headcanoning a canon gay character as straight, yes thats still bad. or like. headcanoning a canon queerplatonic relationship as romantic is still bad, ect ect. if theres representation on something and your headcanon directly takes away the representation, its bad.
if this is about like things unrelated to being queer, headcanoning a character who canonically studders as faking it and or not having a studder is bad, headcanoning a character whos wheelchair bound as not needing the wheelchair/drawing them without the wheelchair is bad, headcanoning a canonically black character as white is bad, headcanoning an abusive relationship as never happening/being healthy is bad, ect ect.
basically, if the character is canonically in a minority, and your headcanon is taking them out of the minority, its bad

not what i fucking said at all. if the characters a minority and your headcanon makes them no longer a minority, its bad. you can headcanon a character thats seperate from them being a minority or not
