It’s me again, the guy who theorizes about the most useless things and not stuff like who the knight is.
I think Flowey is going to appear in Chapter 5 as it is very likely to take place in the Flower King shop, and there is a golden flower in the basement. So I think Flowey may come back. Tell me what you think of this theory, and if you would like to see his return.
I don’t think there’s going to be the Flowey from Undertale but I agree that there could be a Flowey-like character if there is a flower shop dark world.
It does make sense for this Flowey to be an antagonist because Asgore is working with/for the Knight or Carol. Asgore could be instructed to tell this Flowey to distract the fun gang or something similar. BUT this Flowey can not be like the Flowey in Undertale because it wouldn’t have Asriel’s dust on it, determination injected into it, and this Flowey would be a darkner.
I think it would be interesting to have a Flowey character, not only because he was in Undertale, but because he could reflect Ralsei. Ralsei omits information (accidentally) which can sometimes steer the Fun Game in the wrong direction or cause annoyance for them (Berdly trying to open dark fountain, Susie finding out about the nature of darkners, etc). Flowey (in Undertale) purposefully lies about stats like LV and his attacks/
Well, yes, it would clearly not be THE Flowey from Undertale but he could be similar to the original Flowey, maybe revealing something horrible that Ralsei doesn’t mention, such as what the prophecy panel that Susie shatters said.

Agreed,I believe that an alternate version of flowey will be part of chapter then the Undertale version version. Unless there is some reason where the Undertale version can stay in Deltarune...
Flowey could be explained as "The longing of Asriel come to life," and appear in the Dark World.
What about the flowers from Asgore that we all thought Chapter 3 would use?
What if those end up being Flowey like?

Yes but he’s implied to be there. Apart from that yellow Flower, there have been no traces of Flowey.
I had this dream where when Kris and Susie entered the Dark World, the first room was the first room from Undertale, and then when they went through the door they saw a Flowey like character.

A lesson for life: If you want an Undertale character that is impossible to happen in Deltarune, open a Dark Fountain! It always Works!
GUYS HELP I OPENED A DARK FOUNTAIN WITH A COPY OF UNDERTALE NEARBY AND THE ENTIRETY OF IT APPEARED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DARK WORLD, WHAT DO I DO I CAN'T GET TO THE FOUNTAIN!
