Finally, I have my game figured out (mostly)

So... I've been waiting to post this for a while now, but I've been hesitant.
But, I think I've figured out enough.
Ama about the game I'm making, Chronicle of Regantium.

What style of game?
Who is main characters?
What's the basic plot?

  1. The exploration of 2d zelda with RPG elements. It'll be top-down 2d. The art style will be based off of the GBA art styles. The combat system is something I still need to figure out but I've got a good idea of what it'll look like. There'll be a chapter system similar to Deltarune.
  2. The youngest prince of the Kingdom (Sylo) and a commoner boy (Coren).
  3. For the start of the story, Sylo and Coren are training under their master, Cedrin. They are going around the Kingdom, participating in tournaments and learning about the Kingdom along the way.

Also figured that I should edit the title since I don't have the game fully figured out lol

That sounds SO COOL!!

Hell yeah

I could help you make the art and sprites and stuff if you wanted me to ?

I shall considereth ith

It's up to you of course, this is your story and I don't want to intrude.

Either way it sounds SUPER cool and im excited to see more.

Hell yeah

I'M GONNA GO MAKE CONCEPT ART!

Btw here's the map

Yeah
Regantium is the tiny pocket in the bottom right

Is that Azgars fantasy map generator?

Yes

I’m a beginner musician, could I help (maybe) (also what style of music would you want)

Another question, have you ever played a Sid Meiers Civilization game or Europa Universalis game? (sorry this isn't about your game but I'm really curious)

Not sure what music I'd want. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

No.

Oh ok. Just wondering

another question who's the main antag and what's the relationship between the two protags- friends, unlikely allies, couple....?

  1. Spoilers.
  2. Friends.

Btw, chapter 1 is them as kids, chapter 2 is them growing up, and chapter 3 is them being grown-up. They are from Coren's perspective. Chapter 4 retells some events from Sylo's perspective.
