Enemy variation npcs having their own pages

So, if you have noticed, today, a page for farmer Shi was created, but unfortunately deleted, too, as it was created with no discussion about it beforehand. However, I do think that npcs like these should have separate pages, as they have:

  • Vast differences between their and te enemy's designs
  • Have a separate storyline/role
  • Have some important/cryptic dialogue
  • Appear more than once and etc.

Some npcs have that, like Mousemillian and the Fading (Castle) Rudinn. The list for my candidates to have separate pages is:

  • Suit Werewire (Formerly known as City Werewire for...whatever reason, but the suggestion fits better as it is more accurate to the character)
  • Organikk philosophers
  • Small Netskies
  • As if it wasn't obvious, Farmer Shi

This is a fine idea, but what about enemies which appear as NPCs, but don't have an aesthetic variation, such as the Rudinn that gets shoved into the trash can?

Well that Rudinn doesn't have much of anything important to say

Just what the other person said, the rudinn in a trash can is just.....a rudinn in a trashcan. No color changes, no more Appearances, nothing else.

Guys like these would still go to their enemy pages, like the pippins with shades and fedora werewire

Agreed, especially with Organikk philosophers. Those guys are very lore-filled yet the info just gets stuffed on an enemy NPC, and not perfectly at that.

Another page to make: Old Hermit; the Bilbliox with a name from Chapter 3. Very unique character, has the 8-bit appearance as a visual distinguisher compared to his identical overworld appearance. Doesn't perfectly pass rule 1 due to this but I think it's due.

I agree that the old hermit should have a page. I made a draft for him which you can find here. What do you think about it?

It's really good!

I've seen that a lot of these drafts have been moved to the namespace, so I was wondering if my drafts (old hermit and farmer Shi) should also be moved.

I'd say move, especially Farmer Shi as there's more consensus with him.

If Suit Werewire was approved for a page, they can have pages.

Organikk philosopher is a good page. It just needs more citations so that the reader actually knows the whole quote (this is important with lore relevant guys) and probably a screenshot or two. Also, you didn't remove Small Netskie info from the main Netskie page... that needs to happen. Outside of this stuff, the pages are really good.

I was planning on removing the small netskie info a few days ago...but seemingly forgot and I appreciate the Organikk philosopher one, my apologies.

I'll try to move it soon

In my opinion, an old hermit page is not warranted.

The Bibliox in Chapter 3 does not differ at all visually from any other Bibliox, nor does it seem any different personality-wise.

It does, however, have importance in terms of dialogue and its appearance in Chapter 3, but this can easily be differentiated from the Bibliox in Chapter 4 because it has the Chapter 3 section all to itself regardless.

I don't think we need an Old Hermit page. It is a singular Bibliox that appears before Chapter 4, where we see a bunch of them anyway. Here are my thoughts:

  • "Old Hermit" is not a name. It is a descriptor that can be reasonably applied to any other Bibliox. ("Old scholars, greyed by research forgotten." — Cuptain)
  • It has no substantial appearance differences from any other Bibliox.
  • Its personality does not differ sunstantially from a standard Bibliox. It's based on a book, just like the others.

Alright, but with the Old Hermit, there's some historical pre-Chapter 3 lore info that feels worth including outside of by proxy via citing Shuttah, but the issue is you can't really add a "History" section since the article is on all Bibliox.

In specific, I'm talking about "There once was the great wilderness here! Yes... But, the world became the theater, and us, children of Tenna's contract. Those that did not sign the paper, set off for the far land and were forgotten. Now... only the legend old hermit still knows the way to the place."

This history/lore relevant info on the character is probably worth being on the page, but it's "history" information. Would it just go in Chapter 3?

I would just treat it as a Main story section, saying that Shuttah references the Bibliox and then you meet the Bibliox by going to Nowhere. We're not stranger to including references in Chapter sections after all, just look at Yellow's Chapter 3 section.

I have to ask since I've been rather busy for a while: where else was the consensus for farmer Shi being split, since I didn't see that in the article's edit history?

Otherwise I did have a concern about suit Werewire, as mentioned in Discord, and reconfirmed by Lego_The_Guy: the post Chapter 2 suit Werewire in Castle Town is technically tied to recruits. Shadow had brought up a point about these type of Werewires being difficult to discern compared to the enemy variants, though.

And as a recap: someone had asked via a Feedback if the cool S selling Pippins could have a page. Most people were neutral about this one, but it does bring a good point of gameplay relevancy, which is largely what the old hermit also has.
