"Dog Kris" as a running gag

Someone elsewhere mentioned narrowing the focus of the running gag page, and I agree. Kris sometimes dressing up as a dog seems more like a bit of character info than a gag, plus this only happens in two chapters, which I think wouldn’t constitute it as a running gag

It’s a gag and dogs run, so it’s a running gag

Could've just said "insert sans talking" :)

This page is way too broad, I mean why the heck is papyrus there even

I'm honestly not sure why that page exists to begin with.

As a list of running jokes. But it has gotten way out of hand.

The running joke is that the page of running jokes is a joke that is running out of hand

insert papyrus talking noise here

I removed it now.

The definition of a running gag is a joke, phrase, situation, or character quirk that keeps reappearing across a work. The Dog Kris section mentions a character quirk frequently present in multiple chapters starting from Chapter 2, so therefore it is a running gag, by definition.

Additionally, I apologize for the “edit war” I caused, by your definition.

I disagree with it being a gag, because I don't think it's played for humor. And given that it’s only in two chapters so far, we can't really tell the intention behind it.

We’ll see what the community says about it.

*3 chapters, because:

  1. chapter 2, Kris becomes a dog when using an ACT against Tasque Manager
  2. Chapter 3, because Kris uses a dog costume as a monster costume
  3. chapter 4, Toriel comments on Kris "sleeping like a puppy" in the beginning of the chapter

Other than that, idk
