The sign literally said, “You turned to the camera and thanked Tenna for a great toy. Thanks, Tenna!” Tenna gave those as directions to Kris. Kris didn’t actually do that, though. Maybe it also means Tenna is aware of the narrator since they made the sign have those exact words, but probably not.

I think it's just a gag, to have that actually written down on the sign. It's like he's saying "and then you thanked me and appreciated me!! Right?? You did that! Now do that!!"
