This is all without mentioning he fell down (fucking died but has yet to turn into dust) in chapter 5

Even if he just fell off the ladder, he’s ill and probably weak. Falling like that would cause some very bad things to a weak person, and either way the mayor’s husband would be under constant care if something like that happened. He wouldn’t have time to go and do the stuff. As well, Noelle is in a very manic state during the weird route, and seeing people in such states, I can confirm they will really only focus on the things that are right in front of them, even if the other things are very close and personal.
