Did you know that Deltarune was inspired by a true story? It was inspired by a person named Dell Tarun, who went into a closet and saw only darkness, which she called a dark world, and she suggested it happened due to the existence of a “fountain of darkness”. She went into a field of red trees and found 3 kids named Chris, Suzy, and Relsay, who were both playing around pretending to be the “3 Heroes of the Prophecy”. One night, she dropped a pocket knife on the floor and screamed for 12 hours and 25 minutes straight. Her neighbors called this incident “The Roaring Night”, and the knife that fell on the ground turned black over the course of a few days, which the people called the “Black Knife”.
After the incident, Dell Tarun found a deer, and named it December, because she found it in that exact month in its 12th day. However, one night, she went insane and ran over the deer with a blue truck she found in the forest. Another deer came by, who was named Noel by an unknown person, was looking for December, but when she discovered December was ran over, let’s just say… it didn’t turn out well.
