To find the corruption, the ROOTS beneath the flower castle must be explored.
The ROOTS are entered by overwatering the huge vine to top of castle, which will be permanently locked afterwards.
The ROOTS consists of 2 parts, the infected and uninfected areas.
In the harder, infected areas, there is a door requiring the key made with the fragments to open, leading to the secret boss, String Weaver. To exit through the infected areas, you must cut your way through the ROOT spawns leading to a ROOT titan. defeating it reveals stairs to the final goodbyes room.
The uninfected areas are filled with many normal flower kingdom darkners, plus several ROOT spawn. and Flowery and the other flowers are down here fighting off the ROOTS. You must beat a tower defense minigame to fend off the ROOTS in order to convince Flowery you help you leave. This also sends you to the final goodbyes room.
