Many items flavor texts imply that Kris is actively handing (as proved by Susie’s reaction to the Pink Ribbon) or even equipping themself the items to the other party members (as proved by Ralsei’s flavor text for the Twin Ribbon), this idea being reinforced by the fact that Kris is the one carrying the Junk Ball/Inventory containing all of the items of the party. In order to reflect this mechanic, I was thinking maybe items equipable by only Kris could be phrased as “can only be equipped by Kris” while all other instances would be “can (only) be equipped to Susie/all party members/etc…”.
I’m asking this because in the current state of phrasing, the use of “by” or “to” is pretty random, and I think it’d be nice to bring some order to it while reflecting this neat detail.
If this idea is rejected, should we then uniformize all phrasings with “by” or “to”?

Yep, go for it! I had previously went through the trouble of emphasizing that Kris has the inventory already in other articles since that was more important, and kind of isn’t as obvious for battles since everyone can use items.
