After a long time of traveling on the dark soil, which, like Swiss cheese, has occasional spots of beautiful color, you see the Ruby Lake. It’s most beautiful, with the red shining brilliantly as if it fell freshly from an apple tree. The beast appears in the lake, making a splash so large tsunamis would cower in fear. The beast is a colossal creature, showing no brilliance. It seems to be made of shadows, so dark it seems the beast has stolen the night sky.

You have a feeling you won’t be able to spare this foe. The beast has one dark eye on its chest, shadows swirling inside it. You feel the only way to defeat this beast is to banish it.
(Geoff) “This seems a bit more than I bargained for, I’ll admit.”
You try to make a weapon out of your Staff, and are pleased to know at the bottom there is a hidden sharp edge. You run up to the eye, narrowly avoiding the beast’s attacks. You jump up high and slash the eye with the sharp edge, before falling into the red waters. The beast cries in pain as you are submerged into the lake.
(Shadow Colossus)” GAH! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! OHH… IT’LL TAKE A LOT MORE THAN THAT TO DEFEAT ME!”
The Colossus slaps you with their terrible hand, sending you flying into a small cliff wall, while also making humongous waves that dowse (and nearly drown) Geoff.
