After some time of hard thinking, you decide to head to the Golden Armory. You notice the path getting infected with a beautiful yellow, the dark soil slowly becoming a golden path.
Once you arrive, you are amazed by the spectacle. No words can describe how beautifully yellow it is, even golden is disrespecting the awing sheen from its walls. You notice the door knocker is a mix of the green crystals and the yellow crystals, as well as cold-hard iron. The shape of it is a sword and shield, across diagonally from each other.
With two polite knocks, the door opens, and a man greets you with a gruff-ly grunt. You decide, not to ask questions, in fear of what might happen next. You curiously look at the products of the Golden Armory.
(Golden Forger)“That one’s 500 Crystal Shards (CS)”, they respond, after secretly acknowledging your staring of the Emerald Staff.
You nod disappointedly, showing you don’t know what (CS) are or where to get them.
(Golden Forger)”You know what, you seem like a tough fell’er, why don’t you help me with a quest? The name’s Geoff, by the way.”
You nod curiously, the words puzzling you.
(Geoff)”The King of the Cavern has asked me to fell a terrible beast terrorizing Ruby Lake. I will let you choose between the Emerald Staff or the Diamond Spear?”
The choice puzzles you for a while.
…
eventually, you decide to go with the Staff. You don’t like killing enemies who don’t need killing, and you’re sure the “beast” will be swooned by your kindness. And there’s the fact that you could heal Geoff or yourself if things get rough.
(Geoff)”The Staff, eh? Not a bad choice. It’s said to have the healing powers of the Emerald Dragon itself! (I would know because I used it several times)”
You head off to the Lake, ready for a test of your recruiting skills.
