Dark Truth in Vs. Susie (isn't there I don't think)

So I was just looking through the list of motifs and I found that it lists the Dark Truth motif as being in Vs. Susie. If you look at the timestamps given, that is literally three notes, which isn't enough to conclusively say anything. It's not even the whole Dark Truth motif, which is 6 notes long, and while the scale degrees do match (5 4 7 for both), Vs. Susie uses a #4 whereas The Dark Truth (and the other songs that have its motif, and actually in full) uses a natural 4. I just don't think there's any way we can say conclusively that that's there. (Same goes for Imminent Death since that's just from Vs. Susie)

Also, another one that I'm not sure about, also Susie-related. Are we sure that the Susie motif as heard in Susie and Vs. Susie is the same as heard in Friends and Lost Girl (alternate)? The Susie motif is basically 4 sets of 4 notes, only the first 2 sets of which would match anyway, so I'll only be looking at those. In Susie and Vs. Susie, it's in a minor scale; in the first set the scale degrees go 1 3 4 7, and in the second set they go 1 3 4 2 (all ascending). If you listen to the motif shared between Friends and Lost Girl (alternate), it's in a major scale, and the first set goes 7 1 3 5, and the second goes 7 1 5 7 (once again all ascending). If we transpose it to the relative minor to be able to actually compare it against the main Susie motif, we get 2 3 5 7 / 2 3 7 2, which doesn't match with the 1 3 4 7 / 1 3 4 2 - half the notes don't match, only the second and fourth ones do in each set. Now to be fair, there is good thematic reason to believe that these songs are related, since Friends is used in a scene with Susie and Lost Girl (well, the final version anyway) is also frequently used in Susie's scenes. Both melodies have similar ascending patterns and share several notes (when transposed to match each other). But they're also distinct. There's even more of a reason to believe that these are different motifs since this is only half of Susie's motif, and the Friends motif actually also is twice this long. I didn't talk about the second half because it does not match with the second half of Susie's motif at all, but it does however perfectly match what we hear in the alternate Lost Girl, which says to me it could count as a completely different motif. However, considering the musical and thematic similarities, I want to see what the consensus is on this. It's possible that Toby Fox made this new motif for Susie somewhat based on the old one to show her development - we of course can't say for sure. I just felt it was worth pointing out that these motifs are ultimately pretty different and that I'm not sure if they should be counted as the same.

I can't actually edit the Deltarune wiki page anyway, edits are locked (which is fair), and I wouldn't change the Susie/Friends one without consensus anyway. For Vs. Susie/The Dark Truth though, that's not there (or at the very very least not conclusive enough to say it's there) and should probably be removed.

I would, but edits are restricted on the page. Idk if you need like an amount of edits on your account or something, I basically just made this account to point this out im not gonna lie lol

Also, there's precedent on the page for including minor motifs only found in 1 in-game track and 1 unused track (e.g. Raft Ride), so should a new minor motif be introduced for the Friends one if separated from the Susie one (since that is the exact same between Lost Girl (alternate) and Friends)?

Oh actually if it's the same as lost girl then it IS susie motif
cuz i remember hearing susie in lost girl unused

Yeah, I agree with this. I have now changed the page.

@Palladium_standard and @PlayTheColorfulCreature, please stop shitposting on serious threads. I'm not going to warn you guys further about this since you already got a fair amount of warnings before.
