Berdly didn't even change that much over the course of Chapter 2, but what has changed seems to have carried over. He seems more friendly towards Kris and Susie, despite his facade of arrogance.
Berdly is still alive mind you. If you go to the hospital in chapter 4 you can turn on a heater and he will start to breath faster. In the weird route
