Why is the Titan’s boss theme called “Guardian”? Guardian of what? The Dark Fountain?
I guess or maybe its like alluding to something else (Also IDK If you should blur that there is a big black man at the end of chap. 4)
I'm just going to copy what I said in the wiki Discord about this a while ago.
Theory: (that probably isn't true but is cool) The "GUARDIAN" is the Titan; it's actually guarding the world from the roaring. Titans appear when too many fountains are open, not to destroy the world, but to stop whoever's making all the fountains.
Titans are "the fear of the dark," and fear is a biological system designed to keep you from doing something. The living embodiment of that fear will stop you, violently, at all costs.

I feel like we don't know enough about the Titans to answer that yet, but the implications are very intriguing
I think it might be because the player serves as a guardian in warding off the titan? Unless there’s hidden lore about the titan we don’t understand yet, it isn’t a guardian of anything, it’s the opposite. I do think that we may grow to understand the meaning of this title in future chapters.
I think that the Titan(s) is not guarding the world from the Roaring, but just making his most obvious work here, cause the Roaring.
I think like this because the Roaring could be the way to prevent something WORST from happening, maybe an entity much more powerfull (maybe the Voice, (s)he said “MY DELTARUNE”), and by impeding It from happening and maybe “freeding” or “helping” the Voice, maybe after a epic, almost impossible fight with the Angel, the Voice could kill(¿maybe?) It and be something like the True Villain, and every character we thinked that was evil, was not.

This is an interesting idea, but do you think the angel and voice are both new characters we’ve never seen before?
Maybe… i even imagined a cutcene..:
After the final hit (from any character) the angel (imagine It looking like Asriel’s second form) slowly falls down to the ground while making a scream that sounds like a mix of the Wither (Minecraft) with Landia (Kirby Return to Dreamland) and then, suddenly, something impales it with something like a tail, completely black, without even a white outline, looking like shadows. Then, the Voice says:
-WELL DONE. YOU MADE IT. THANKS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK. NOW…
Then the Angel turns to dust and is blown to a dark place. Then~~
I can’t think in the appearance of the Voice…

A battle against It happens after this

Of.......
