It’s been in front of us the whole time. All of it. The answer to everything has been with us from the start.
And nobody bothers to notice it.

King, Jevil, Spamton…
Kris.
They all want one thing.
Freedom.
The freedom of their people, the freedom to do whatever they want…
They don’t want to be under control anymore.
King wants his people to be free, free to not have to bow to the every whim of the LIGHTNERS.
Jevil has gone completely cynical, to the point of gaslighting himself into thinking he’s the only free one.
Spamton wants to be able to make his own decisions, free of his puppet strings that control him.
And Kris…
Kris doesn’t want to be a slave to our choices anymore.
But we push them, force them to make their best friend into a killing machine.
But…
Do our choices even matter?
Do Kris’ actions against us do anything?
…
No.
It does nothing.
This is not our game – we’re just the player.
And that’s exactly it.
If there’s one ending, there’s one ending.
We don’t get a choice.
We can break the code, see what’s inside, modify it…
But, it’s not our game.
We don’t have the ultimate plot armour, the game does.
And there’s nothing we can do about it.

How this game ends…
…well, it’s still anyone’s guess.
But, I can guarantee you,
It won’t be the ending any of us want from it.
