should king's mantle be included in any capacity in the shadow mantle page? i vote no, because including any information on it on this page is making a statement in a way which i think we should not do, and they vote yes, because the parallels between the two mantles are notable enough to reference. what does everyone else think now?
I would say that given what we know about the Shadow Mantle's appearance: that it has a liquid-like composure which is also evidenced by the Shadow Mantle Holder's idle animation, is inconsistent with the appearance of King's cape. This is enough to make drawing a connection between the two have more weight than just pointing out visual similarities, like Frisk and Kris, or Tenna and TV Dinnah (which is supported by the T-rank stuff). No idea about Spamton and Flowey, I've never even heard of that. But I think you can see the point I'm trying to make.

The bit about the king’s mantle flying away might be trivia-worthy. Connections to the Shadow Mantle are not because they’re speculatory.
If you can’t put the information directly, put something like
“Curiously, the cape King uses looks very similar to the Shadow Mantle Holder’s sprite. It also flyes away at the end of the battle, indicating a possible conection between them.”
This is pretty good, actually. Still speculation, but good.

But this argument doesn’t stop that guy from putting “indicating a possible connection”
