Alright, here we go! This actually wasn’t that hard at all, and only took so long due to me having football, camping trips, and lots of schoolwork. (And a lot of procrastination lol)
But anyways, here you go!
Basic Overview:
The mercy button is now functional, but still does nothing if the enemy isn’t spareable yet. The text now appears frame-by-frame instead of all at once. (It was really just a simple matter of setting the block to not run in a single frame) The menu box can now be resized at any moment. And of course, the best part, the enemy’s turn.
The Enemy’s Turn:
The soul is actually always checking to see whose turn it is, and will show and be movable if the enemy is talking/attacking. Speaking of which, I have a very basic attack of a spinning line. (It’s really just for demonstration purposes…) I got the damage formula from the wiki, and the values for I-frames and speed from @KockaAdmiralac . (Thanks a ton!)
Also, I did set the I-frame and speed values after I took the recording for the video demonstration. You can watch it right Here.
Anyways, I am really excited to keep working on this! I should make more devlogs soon, as I have a lot more free time on my hands.
Pixel, out!
