An interesting thing that happens to me

When I consume a bunch of a specific media, (comic, animated series, ect) I start to think in that specific media.

When I hear a character a lot, I start to internalize their speech quirks.

I don't know if this is a gift or a curse, because you know how sometimes people narrarate inside their heads? my internal narration voice sounds like Gabriel from ultrakill :sob:

Although it is good because it helps me write characters better

I DO IT TOO MY INTERNAL DIALOGUE SUDDENLY JUST SOUNDS LIKE OTHER CHARACTERS SOMETIMES

"Those words aren't in the bible" "SHUT UP I'M TRYING TO SOLVE A MATH PROBLEM"

I also sometimes read narration in books in a Gaster voice (or at least my interpretation of his voice)

ok imma start doing that now thx

proceeds to read Lord of the Rings and imagines Tom Bombadil sounding like Gerson

same thing but for youtube narraators like the kurgzesart narrator

"What would happen if you tried getting a job? To represent this, let's put 10 tonnes of plutonium in the Amazon rainforest."

job (pronounced with a long "o")

Peak book of the Bible

Indeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed...

What's a long o
Do you mean /oʊ/ or /ɔː/ or...?

it means pronounced like in "gerson boom"
that's what a long o in english means
english is such a bad language

So /u/, ok

Romance Languages win again! Except French!

I am writing a villain in one of my stories and I don’t know why but there’s a very specific voice that I imagine him having, but I can’t pin it down who he sounds like
