For years after my first ut playthrough, I was convinced that Asgore had absorbed the six human SOULs before fighting Frisk. Only like last year did I mention this to somebody and they looked at me like I was stupid.
I overestimated Frisk's power ig
I thought it was pretty clear he didn't absorb the human souls.
...But then again that could just be because I watched the "Genocide Asgore Fight" fangame get played and was like "OH HE ABSORBED THE SIX HUMAN SOULS"
*Whatever you believe is canon to your own copy of UNDERTALE.
Did he really
in 10th an streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem
I haven't seen that yet ![]()
YOU SUD ![]()
There is no scenario where Asgore ever absorbs the six souls
I don’t know why you would believe he does, everything about the Flowey fight contradicts it
IDK I just used to not be able to extrapolate any correct information from context because I was in single digits so when the souls came up in their little canisters I thought "oh he's absorbing them for the fight"
Volnar why are you so Unforgiving
Which like logically he prob should have but he probably wanted it to be fair
*Dad's a GREAT guy!
*...Yes, I possessed Lance-AAAGHRAGH
Yeah, he would have likely been better off with them in the fight
He doesn’t absorb them on Genocide either, I think he’s mainly scared of completing his plan
true
Toriel confirms this; she points out that if Asgore had really wanted to go through with the plan, he could've just absorbed one soul to pass the barrier and collected the other six on the surface.
You are the only one who thought of this
ye
Why did Gaster make Chara make Gaster make Carol make the Knight make the Man make Chara make Gaster make Kris make Noelle make the SOUL make Flowey make Gaster make me think this
RC: it could also be that he's fighting a literal child and he thought he didn't need them
Godzilla had a stroke reading this and fucking died
No offense but we already talked about the reasons he wouldn't absorb the souls in this thread and that's a really bad reason
Do you think Asgore is overconfident?
