I hope it's someone we don't know of desperately. I want the Knight to be there own character. Not some persona of an already known character.

I think it's most likely that the reveal will be someone we know, and that it will make a better story that way. But it is possible it'll be just The Knight.
During the "close your eyes and think of Susie" moment of Chapter 4, you can refuse to do it and think of the Knight instead. Kris would be able to see the Knight taking off it's helmet. But before they could see it's face, Kris makes a conscious effort to think of Jockington instead.
The Knight's identity is something Kris doesn't want us to know.
