originate from spanish (I think) for the boy and the girl, respectively.
"El" is masculine and typically refers to such pronouns, for example "el macho", a villian from Dispicable Me's 2nd movie.
"La", meanwhile, is a feminine pronoun used by many (european) cultures, for example in french, "la" essentially literally carries the same meaning. "nina" and "nino" I remember from some old Duolingo lessons I did.

Or, in the light world, Ralsei might be something that Kris carries everywhere. Like their knife (Even though Ralsei does not look like a knife) But that would explain why he's so similar to the dreemur family. Because he might be something that Kris carries everywhere.

We saw this happen with Spamton and Tenna, where in the old game backstage Tenna states:

"I wish they never brought that Laptop home" Or something like that

So yeah, that explains. When the object that simbolizes a darkner goes to another place, they start "adapting" to their new Dark World.
