So it happened. The ROARING ended up destroying the world… but Susie, the last one standing, used her determination to RESET the world… but something went wrong. A titan struck her just as she did so, shaking the very fabric of space and time.

As the world rebuilt, differences began to become obvious. Hometown was now in Japan. The PROPHECY never happened. The last remnant of the world before was nothing more than a bedtime story, something nobody thought was real.

Our story begins with HIROMU, a college student who purposefully isolates themself mourning Daiju, one of their childhood friends. Their next-dorm-neighbor, CHIENO, is a boxer who’s always punching holes in their shared wall. NANAKO, Hiromu’s childhood friend and the new girl at college, has noticed that Hiromu is acting weird, but she dismisses it as nothing more than depression. BANRI… well, Banri is Banri. There’s nothing really wrong with him, he’s just annoying.

It happened on yet another sleepless night…

:ralseihat: Hi!

:kris: WHO IN THE ACTUAL HECK ARE YOU?!?!?

:susie: Dude, who are you screaming at? It’s 3 AM!

:kris: Apparently, I’m hallucinating now! Either that, or this dorm room is haunted!

:susie: If the dorm room was haunted, wouldn’t the ghost be all dusty?

:kris: Well, it is that dirty…

:noelle: Hello?

:kris: NANAKO YOU NEED TO HELP ITS ME HIROMU IM-

:ralseihat: Could I help at all?

:kris: (Muttering under their breath) How would you help? It’s not like you’re real.

:kris: Sounds good, I guess.

:kris: By the way… what’s your name? I feel like I should call you something.

What if throughout the AU everyone starts getting weird dreams and visions, which are very brief, and the dreams/visions are little parts of their past world? Like, Nanako might get random visions of Berdly (yeah Berdly... or the Berdly in her world) encased in ice, or something, and uhhh whoever Susie is in this AU might randomly get a dream at the moment she uses her determination to reset the world n stuff???

AND THEN EVERYONE STARTS TO FEEL LIKE WOAAAAAH HEY WHAT IF THAT BEDTIME STORY WAS R E A A A A A L

DELTAROT was the original title of the AU, referring to Hiromu’s state of wellbeing.

But the term “deltarot” is how we refer to bad Deltarune memes…

Should we keep the original title or brainstorm a new one?
