Ehhh there's one Anti-Asgore Knight reason there that ain't very veritable: Asgore has, yes, a big belly, but do you remember him from Undertale?(where his physical form is basically the same) He can probably fit inside that Knight Armor, principally with all the Darkness and Magic and etc. involved.
I'm not an Asgore Knighter, but who else in the Holy ̶F̶u̶c̶k̶ Angel's name would be related to the Church, Police and Holidays? At the very least he's giving the Bunker's code to the Knight.
