It's possible, which is why I tried to ask 'why is the corpse theory fine but 'what if the fountains are big' gross?
I know there's like, phobias of open spaces/big things/whatever you'd call being scared of the stuff that happens in House of Leaves, so I don't want to be insensitive, but to be earnest if I saw a theory that was like, touching on my deepest phobias, unless it was starting to become omnipresent in the fanbase/legitimately Really Bad (you know the kind.) I really don't enjoy getting in fights.
... Okay so technically I enjoy getting into fights, but only if they're over nonsense. I will fight about golden flower botany all day, I don't like getting into arguments about like, stuff that's legitimately something that makes me ill.
All the same I do think it's fine to razz a little bit when someone goes 'everybody is so rude' when a user just is hot off the presses of 'calling two different things disgusting with no prompting'.
Little Caesar's is awesome but it doesn't top Domino's in my opinion

Anyways if we're going to argue from the angle of 'we don't know the true size of the church' angle, I will posit that via the very nature of pixel art/being abstractions, we don't actually know the true size of ANYTHING in Deltarune, if you think about it.
Like, to the point that someone could very easily make a 'what if this is like the end of that one medical show, where everything is in a snowglobe / like what that one superman villain does to kryptonian cities' and I'd go 'hold on... HUGE IF TRUE??'.
