the stuff that makes up fountains and titans are really potent, liquid/solid darkness, darkness that makes up the darks worlds are the gaseous residue of the dark fountains, the knight, however, is coated in liquid darkness, you could say she's covered in the water from the fountain

More like as if she was coated in the shadows itself... The very incarnation of Darkness... As if it was... Void.

Ultrakill, Dead Cells^[1], Terraria^[2], Hollow Knight kinda has it with all the Infection being spilled from the bodies... Oh, and the enemies that are pulverized into a bunch of fleshy pieces!
