So I'm officially in denial about the Homestuck epilogues. If you ask me, I will say they don't exist and aren't canon because they ruin at least 60% of my favorite characters' personalities. So as far as i'm concerned they aren't real

Think I want to read beyond canon but I also don't really want to have to read the epilogues and also um I've already read a LOT of homestuck so maybe i'll just work on my story for now and go back later and reread the epilogues

Listen, I binge read a story thousands of pages long while juggling two other fandoms and became very invested in the story just to have my FAVORITE characters get fundamentally changed in the epilogues I need a break to solely hyperfixate on my stories for a little while
I gotta let the Autism Ray of Hyperobsession recharge a little bit before I launch myself into something new(ish)
RC: the epilogues were a pretty big road block for me tbh. meat isn't that bad, i read it and enjoyed some elements of it but I can't stand candy. it took me weeks to finish it. i don't regret reading them though because, again, beyond canon is good
But... everyone's depressed except karakat, Dave, kanaya and jade
