Gunner's the human team's time player btw, they don't have a space player so the troll team is forced to work with the human team because otherwise they couldn't win. The troll team's space player is the Knight of Space and yes their outfit kind of looks like the roaring knight because I couldn't help myself

Also because the version of Sburb the trolls and later humans were playing was fundementally unfinished and still had some lingering glitches so they had to finish it themselves and that requires screwing with the narrative so obviously starchild showed up to be all "OooooOOOoo write your own ending to the stooOOOooRy" and be cliche like that because that's what I would do
