It was one of the darkest Dark Worlds because the closer light is to 0 the darker it appears, Dark Worlds are negative light and the lighter they appear the further they are from 0. Bright areas in Dark World's is actually really dark areas because that's how math works.

Tenna is the funny tv, but also most importantly was plugged in and Specifically on when the Dark World he exists in was created, thus he was generating actual light before being kinda subsumed into the dark world.
it's likely the 'seven suns' (the grow lights) are closer to this, at least in my personal opinion.
