uhh sometimes they're cactuses or other stuff, but there's a lot of toys that temporarily record voice to repeat back in a higher pitched 'cute' voice. a lot of them end up kind of scary, especially when their batteries are low...

In the light world I'd be a yellow sticky note with a bunch of reminders written on it
In the dark world I'd be like a yellow with back outline human figure but with obvious fold traces like those crumpled paper backgrounds
I'd be constantly panicking about the things I absolutely mustn't miss (aka the reminders in the lw)
A pretty simple and miserable existence, but a very fitting for a Darkner nonetheless

Their special ability would be that if you change then in the light world their dark world from would change correspondingly
So they can be Marty McFly, Spider-Man, Jay from Ninjago, whoever they (and you) want
And they would gain the character's powers and abilities as well
