Probably a good idea, they already work hard enough keeping the wiki in good shape. It would be cool if they made some custom, exclusive badges for it though.
The questions are now:
How long does voting run before the anniversary (I’m assuming thats when we would hold it)?
How do we nominate people/posts, and when should that start.
Does someone know a way to hide the votes, so the results aren’t spoiled before the award show?

Let’s go with someone who’s a “famous” wiki user. E.g. palladium, Xander, Ryker, for the announcer. I’d say about 2 weeks of voting.
