because void is a tricky thing to work with, and we only know the overwhelmingly vast majority, so individual OCs could hypothetically be headcanoned (anything that appears onscreen ingame ofc could not be)
due to their nature as an artaficial species, very very minor blips could be used in OCs (and OCs alone), while ofc vessels as a group and all vessels ingame are nb (and any headcanons on them being rendered false ad infinitum)

the point is that very very early on there could hypothetically have been impurities in the technique making them nonvessel-like, however that can only be left to OCs.
Yeah, but we are talking about canon vessels. There's Definitely a Chance but there's most likely going to be Imprinting on a Higher Power Pronoun Wise, so that means a lot of combinations of they and it still exist.
