I expected each of the colored flowers in Flower King to parallel the six human SOULs from Undertale since I read this quote from Miss Mizzle:

The Bluest Flower, A disciple of my speech
Shy to no camera, And a specimen of
Elegance and kindness.
Should you meet, Please give my regards.

(The bluest flower being the blue flower, not the cyan flower)

This attack just convinces me more of my prediction: Seven related flower Darkners, with the golden flower being special among them, and the six remaining ones using the attacks we see from each SOUL in the Flowey fight.

With this many unique characters, it would be hard not to make Chapter 5's narrative orbit around them, and that usually means boss fights. And since I'm still convinced Asgore will be the main boss, this lets the flowers absolutely monopolize every miniboss slot.

He's my favorite character across both games. I'm excited to see how this new golden flower compares to him.

I think that the secret boss might be like a sort of hydra with different heads being the different flowers each having a personality that embodys a soul trait, and the yellow one has a cowboy hat
